The 2021 edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) has been finalized and is now available for purchase. The OESC comes into effect as regulation on May 5, 2022.

In the wake of the Barrie tornadoes, the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is working with local authorities to access areas without power as safely and quickly as possible. Damage is widespread and severe.
