FAQ

I have a learning disability and need assistance. Can someone help me?

ESA is committed to providing every exam candidate with an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and competencies. The purpose of accommodations is to remove barriers so that individuals may participate equally.

Accommodation requests can be made during the ME Exam registration process on the ESA Licensing Platform. Be sure to complete the accommodation section and include all required documentation to support your request. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact masters.exam@electricalsafety.on.ca.

Please note: Submitting an accommodation request does not guarantee that the accommodation will be granted.

Exams from the public schedule may not be an option for those requiring an accommodation. For example, if a reader is required, the exam must be held in a private session. When a public exam isn’t possible, we will work with you to set up a private exam at a date and time that works for everyone, once we have the required documentation.
