Mandate, Mission & Vision

The ESA is Ontario’s delegated administrative authority for electrical safety, reporting to the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (MPBSDP). The Ontario government has given ESA a mandate to improve public electrical safety.

Our mandate guides everything we do and sets a solid foundation for our strategic priorities, enabling us to function as a trusted leader in electrical safety and a proactive partner in shaping a safer Ontario.
