The 29th Edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) comes into effect May 1, 2025. All electrical installations on notifications filed after this date must meet the new and amended requirements. ESA offers training courses throughout the province of Ontario to provide the electrical and related industries with an overview of the many updates made to the 2024 OESC. Our 2024 OESC - New and Amended Requirements course covers the latest updates to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, including key changes that impact wiring, installation, and safety practices. This course is available through in-person training, self-directed online learning, and virtual instructor-led sessions, offering flexibility to suit your preferred learning method.
Note: Sections 18 and 64 of the 2024 OESC include a substantial number of amendments that are not covered in detail in this course. While the course provides a high-level overview of key changes in these two sections, it does not offer a comprehensive, in-depth review
