Safety & Technical Training
July 29, 2020 — As the government continues a gradual, staged approach to reopen Ontario, ESA is assessing how we can safely resume in-person classroom training while adhering to Ontario Public Health guidelines. ESA is continuing to monitor key public health indicators and Stage 3 restrictions as efforts begin to reschedule previously postponed in-person classroom courses. If you are registered in a postponed ESA course, we will notify you in the next couple of weeks of the rescheduled date. Please note that online courses are continuing as scheduled.
ESA offers electrical safety and technical training based on the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Our in-depth knowledge of electrical harms guides the development of effective training to shape safe work behaviour. Training helps you reduce risks.
Training courses are designed to offer practical help. Instructors clarify electrical safety principles and safe work practices. We also guide the use of complex codes, standards and guidelines. ESA works in partnership with members of the electrical industry to promote electrical safety and to ensure compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. We understand your installation challenges, and we draw on our daily field experiences to present solutions in the classroom.
To meet your training needs, ESA offers instructor-led, self-directed, and eLearning options. Public and on-site courses are also available.
By registering for training, you agree that ESA may collect, use and disclose your personal information if needed to process your application. You agree that you have obtained similar consent from others named on your registration.
Except as permitted by the Code, our Policy or by law, ESA will not release an individual’s personal information to a third party without their written consent.
